Questions and Answers

Q: I have an image I want to use, it is in a GIF format. Will that work?

A: The chances of being able to reproduce a GIF or Raster Based image into a larger size, while preserving quality are very low. GIF’s are a Raster format as opposed to a Vector based graphic which are easily manipulated and retain image crispness. At larger sizes, GIF’s or raster based artworks will show mass amounts of pixelation if expanded too large. Some other examples of a Raster Format include: GIF, JPG, BMP,PNG, TIFF
